2009 Festival: Creative Writing and Poetry Day – A Place for the Genuine

A day-long workshop at the London Buddhist Centre, suitable for anyone with an interest in writing, reading and appreciating poetry. Led by Vishvantara (a Poetry London 1st Prize winner) and Maitreyabandhu.

Vishvantara will invite participants to develop contrasting poetic voices and compare their effects. Maitreyabandhu will present and chair a discussion on the poetry of Marianne Moore. There will be a chance for everyone to read from their work.
