Spring into Summer – May 2009
Walk London will be organizing its 6th walking weekend, ‘Spring into Summer’, 30-31 May 2009. A weekend of 40 walks along every section of the Strategic Walk Network in London.
They will include: along the River Thames (The Thames Path) – around Central London (The Jubilee Walkway) – through NE London (The Lea Valley Walk) – 40 miles through SE London (The Green Chain Walk) – the 150 mile London LOOP (The London Outer Orbital Path) – numerous walking routes through the suburbs (The Capital Ring).
Walk London is a cross-borough partnership led by the City of London, funded by Transport for London, committed to making London one of the most walk-friendly cities in Europe by 2012. Walk London co-ordinates investment in the Strategic Walk Network for London.
