A vibrant mix of artists, venues and facilitators has come together to offer you a huge choice of artistic ways to slow down during the festival.

Read on for selected highlights…

Creative impulses are often amongst the first casualties of a hectic lifestyle, so why not explore these opportunities to reclaim some time for your artistic and imaginative self?

WRITELondon have developed a series of site-specific writing walks which offer you the chance to write, reflect and share along the way. Whether you find your inspiration in the scenery of the Canal Write, the buzz of Creative Writing on the Move or the Characters you observe, poet Jasmine Cooray will guide you through these workshops.

If your artistic urges are more visual, join Craftspace for a hands-on introduction to wallpaper printing, or enjoy the relaxing pursuit of creating works of art with Skylark Galleries on the banks of the Thames. Take time to explore the pavement artist in you, or add your input to a collaborative collage.

And for those of a dramatic persuasion, The Albany are hosting a workshop that will explore the themes of speed and communication in our relationships. The workshop will conclude with a performance that is open to all.
