Slow Club – 2011

Are you in pursuit of a slower pace which lets you appreciate your life in this amazing city? We at Slow Down London are, and we have been trying out something called the Slow Club as a way of sharing our ideas and experimenting with slowing down through a weekly structured class. The next Club started on Thursday February 17th at 7pm.

Being Mindful: courses in 2011

How can we teach ourselves to appreciate our life instead of rushing through it? ‘Mindfulness’ training has been gaining wide approval for reducing stress and anxiety and learning how to be present. The course teaches simple techniques like meditation and gentle movement to help us become more focused, relaxed and aware. (more…)

Upon contracting some form of manflu I realised that I actually became more productive, despite being deliberately economical with my limited energy, and resolving to take it easy; I did less, worried less and achieved more.
